By Law No. 2010/13 of 21 December 2010 governing electronic communications in Cameroon, management of the “.cm” ccTLD was entrusted to the National Agency for Information and Communication Technologies (ANTIC). Hitherto, the “.cm” domain name was managed by Cameroon Telecommunications (CAMTEL). As such, management of the “.cm” has to be redelegated from CAMTEL to ANTIC. This process consists in informing the global Internet community that ANTIC is the new manager of the “.cm” domain name by getting ANTIC and its contact details added to the “.cm” database of the Internet Assigned Numbers Authority (IANA), which is accessible via the following address: https://www.iana.org/domains/root/db/cm.html.
As part of this process to redelegate management of the “.cm” ccTLD, ANTIC requests all organisations of the local Internet community to lend their support by forwarding, to the Agency, their letters of agreement addressed to IANA in English, using the template available for download here.
